Antique French Silver Gilt Cruets Ref 8371
French 19th century Antique French Gothic style cruets in crystal and solid silver gilt, with case.
Made by the French Silversmiths Trioullier Freres, who worked in Paris from 1875-1900.
All three pieces are hallmarked throughout as being solid silver, and bear the maker's names.
All pieces are gilded throughout, with the body of the cruets made in crystal.
The cruets are finished with blue and gold enamels. Th lid to each has a small enamel with 'V' and 'A' respectively.
The handles are formed from a gargoyle joining the main body to the hinged lid.
The bottom of each cruet have more blue and gold enamels, with grapes on one, and leaves on the other.
The base of each cruet is finished decorative engraving work.
The solid silver gilt tray has decoration and beading all round the shaped edge.
Cruets Height 17.5cm. Tray 27cm x 15cm at the maximum points. Overall weight 844g.
The set comes complete with the original lined, fitted case, bearing the maker's name.
All pieces are fully hallmarked and in excellent condition throughout. Please ask if you would like any further details or information about this cruet set.
