English Gothic Gilded Chalice & Paten Ref 8913
English Gothic Chalice & Paten gilded all over.
The Chalice is highly decorated with engraving and stones throughout.
The cup to the Chalice is engraved with a frieze round the top with Gothic style crosses worked in. Further engraving at the base of the cup.
The hexagonal stem is engraved throughout and the central circular knop is set with six small red stones.
The hexafoil petalled base has further engraving, and a red stone is set on each petal.
The edge of the base sets done with engraving on the set.
The blending dish shaped Paten is made in hallmarked solid silver, gilded all over. It has an engraved cross to the back and it fits the Chalice well.
Chalice height 22.5cm. Base diameter 18.5cm. Diameter of top of cup 11.5cm. Diameter of Paten 16.5cm. Overall weight of Chalice & Paten 735g.
