English gilded Gothic Chalice with Sterling Silver Paten.
The Chalice is in English Gothic style, and is gilded all over.
Blending solid sterling silver gilt Paten made in London in 1938
The Chalice has a plain cup. The hexagonal stem is finished with engraving and has a central hexafoil knop with six diamond shaped lozenges, each engraved with a cross.
The hexafoil petalled base has engraved to each petal, with the word 'JESUS+' engraved around the base.
The blending well shaped Paten is in solid sterling silver, gilded all over. It fits the Chalice well.
Chalice height 22cm. Base diameter 15cm. Diameter of top of cup 12cm. Diameter of Paten 15cm. Weight of Chalice 754g; weight of Paten 144g.
