English Sterling Silver Gilt Ciborium Ref 7407
English solid sterling silver Ciborium, made in London in 1919 by the silversmiths Blunt and Wray Ltd.
The Ciborium is completely solid silver. It bears the sterling silver hallmark and maker's mark throughout
The Ciborium is gilded all over.
The lid is surmounted with a decorative cross.
The stem and knop are round, leading to the circular base.
Overall Height to top of cross 18cm. Diameter of base 9.5cm; diameter of top of bowl 7.5cm. Overall weight 186g.
