Italian Antique Silver Ciborium Ref 7712
Antique Italian Ciborium in decorative style.
19th century Italian Ciborium made in solid silver gilt. The Ciborium is hallmarked with Italian marks to the base & lid.
The lid is set with rows of leaves and us surmounted with a central cross.
The calix to the bowl is made in bunches of wheat and grapes, with leaves below.
The circular stem is finished with decoration.
The circular base has further leaf decoration all round.
Overall Height to top of cross 31cm. Diameter of base 13cm; diameter of widest part of bowl 14cm; diameter of top of bowl 10cm. Internal depth of bowl 8cm. Overall weight 1,109g.
Complete with brand new lined, fitted case for carrying and storage.
