Brass Sunburst Monstrance Ref 8355
Brass Sunburst French style Monstrance complete with Pyx & Lunette.
The Monstrance is made in solid brass.
It is surmounted at the top with a decorative Gothic style cross.
Round the central Gloria is filigree work with grapes in the design. The central glass is edged with clear stones all round.
The stem is circular and is finished with diamond shaped engraving work. The central knop has six diamond shaped lozenges, each engraved with a Gothic style cross.
The circular base is finished with decoration, and stands on three decorative feet.
The Monstrance comes with a silver plated Pyx, with an engraved Gothic cross to the front.
The Lunette is gilded and it fits both the Pyx & Monstrance well.
The Monstrance height is 57cm. The width across the centre part is 30cm & the base is 18cm at the maximum points. The inside of the Gloria measures 7.5cm. The weight of the Monstrance is 1,064g.
